Holiday Lights Parade Returns To Somerville Saturday
Decorated fire trucks and emergency vehicles will be driving through the streets in Somerville on Saturday. Rain or shine.

SOMERVILLE, NJ — The annual Holiday Lights Parade will return in Somerville with decorated fire trucks, emergency vehicles and more hitting the streets on Saturday.
The parade starts at dusk, about 6 p.m.and will continue through 10 p.m. Staging will be from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Somerville Fire Department Engine Co. #1 firehouse at 170 E. Main St.

Starts on East Main Street going West on Main Street to Mountian Aveue to East High Street to Mercer Avenue to West Spring Street to Gaston Avenue to Reimer Street to Lori Drive to Lisa Terrace to Lee Way to Rehill Avenue to Lincoln Avenue to Halsey Street to Eastern States Parkway to Putnam Street to North Richards to East Main Street towards 170 East Main St.
Prizes will be given out for the best-decorated fire and emergency vehicles, personal float vehicles, and best-decorated houses and/or businesses along the parade route.

All fire departments, rescue squads, and law enforcement agencies statewide are welcome to participate. Additionally, community-based organizations (i.e. scouts, churches, schools, etc) are also welcome and encouraged to participate.
Event day registration and check-in will be at the SFD Engine Co. #1 firehouse at 170 E. Main St.
