Houlihan's Permanently Closes In Bridgewater And Parsippany

The popular restaurant chain previously shuttered two other New Jersey locations after filing for bankruptcy in 2019.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Houlihan's Restaurant and Bar permanently closed two more of its locations in Bridgewater and Parsippany.

The popular restaurant chain abruptly closed the location at 1288 Route 22 East in Bridgewater along with the 1735 Route 46 Parsippany location.

"We are deeply saddened to announce the closure of our Parsippany and Bridgewater locations, which closed on September 28. We value our employees, their dedication to the company and are working to relocate them immediately to one of our many nearby locations," said Houlihan's Spokeswoman Amy Freshwater. "We are grateful for the support of our community."

Freshwater encouraged patrons to visit the remaining New Jersey locations in New Brunswick, Bayonne, Secaucus, Paramus and Ramsey.

Houlihan's filed for bankruptcy in November 2019 but was recently bought up by Landry's Inc. for $40 million, according to Bloomberg.
