Interactive Photo Playground Coming To Bridgewater Commons

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A unique, fantasyland photo playground with more than 20 explorable places and countless surprises is coming to the Bridgewater Commons.

The mall is teaming up with BAYMO, the creators of one-of-a-kind immersive experiences, to bring Pop! to New Jersey. It will open Friday, Nov. 26 (Black Friday) at 10 a.m.

"A truly remarkable experience, we are thrilled to offer this exclusive attraction here at Bridgewater Commons," said Marketing Director Tom Kovacic. "Opening our new activation in a 5,000 square foot space has given its creators the ability for even more whimsy and innovation which we know will instantly 'wow' the thousands of Bridgewater Commons guests we expect to entertain over this limited-time engagement."

The exterior of POP! at Bridgewater Commons greets guests with an array of vintage TVs continually updating with visuals and videos reminiscent of the 1950s.

Guests enter through a lobby designed in the style of a New York City bodega. And, as they make their way inside, visitors find themselves in a 1970s laundromat with retro machines, checkered floors and all the sounds of that specific experience.

"POP! at Bridgewater Commons is all things color, fun, art, lights and cameras," said BAYMO Team Member Scot Redman. "The experience is full of pop culture references, multimedia visuals and more where our unique floor plan allows for multiple visits as guests can alter their individual experience each time through."

Around every corner, visitors can find secret entrances and make their way through a curved photography studio or a vibrant tunnel of music and light.

The settings allow for photo opportunities each complemented with lighting and sound. The photos are professionally processed and sent directly to mobile phones. Hard-copy prints may also be purchased and printed on-demand in the POP! gift shop at the conclusion of the experience.

Located on the Lower Level across from Build-A-Bear Workshop, reservations for POP! at Bridgewater Commons are made online at bridgewaterpop.com where guests will find the entertainment venue’s operating hours.

Tickets are now on sale where pricing starts at $22 for adults and $8 for children under 12. Group discounts are available. POP! at Bridgewater Commons will run through May 31, 2022.

With full COVID-19 safety strategies in place, BAYMO will have high-frequency cleanings, face mask requirements (except when taking photos), entirely touchless photo booths and a space twice as big that is designed to allow distance between each group of guests.
