International artist and author Sreyashi Ghosh to visit SCLSNJ
Sreyashi Ghosh will present a performance of poems, sign books, answer questions

On February 25, 2015 at 6 pm, international artist and author Sreyashi Ghosh will present a performance of poems from her most recently published book at Somerset County Library System of New Jersey’s Watchung Library branch, located at 12 Stirling Road. The book, My Soul on a Platter, is drawn from her international experiences while working with UN headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland and field experiences in Africa.
Sreyashi’s presentation will include what she calls “graphic poetry”: a unique presentation of video footage of her artwork accompanied by music that accentuates and punctuates the poetry she reads.
Limited editions of Sreyashi’s book, My Soul On A Platter, will be on sale during the book signing after the performance presentation. Sreyashi will also have time to answer questions from the audience.
