Kangaroo Kids Grandparents Tea

Intergenerational opportunities abound as young and "mature" meet and provide an enriching experience for each other.

In our faced paced high-tech world, many times we forget to honor the knowledge, the support, and the strength Grandparents have to offer. Kangaroo Kids provides time to build those bonds and acknowledge the value of these special moments where families can come together. Intergenerational opportunities abound as young and “mature” meet and provide an enriching experience for each other. All children at Kangaroo Kids invited their grandparents to tea. They worked together to plant flowers, make crafts and enjoy snacks, and read stories. As they planted seeds together, they spent precious moments that will flourish into beautiful flowers and beautiful memories as the growing plants remind grandparents of their ever-growing grandchildren. In the process, they are planting the seeds for a lifetime of love, respect, and togetherness.

Grandparents traveled from near and far for an opportunity to make memories with their Grandchildren. As you listen to the giggles and watch the enthusiastic hugs, it is not hard to figure out that everyone is having a wonderful time!

It was truly a heartwarming experience to see the two generations bond and to see the love and support the grandparents at Kangaroo Kids had for their grandchildren.
