Kangaroo Kids Teachers Attend Statewide Conference

Kangaroo Kids Child Care and Learning Center teachers attended the New Jersey Child Care Association (NJCCA) statewide conference, “Partners in Education,” on Aprl 7th

In the world of early childhood education, staff training is a key ingredient as teachers are laying the building blocks for the future leaders of our world. Information comes to us faster and from more sources than ever before in the history of our world. Scientist can now study the impact of positive and negative interactions on the developing brain. Kangaroo Kids has been leaders in education since 1991 and they understand the importance of continuing education for their staff.

Kangaroo Kids Teachers had an opportunity to attend workshops on curriculum, classroom management, literacy education for young children, STEM for preschoolers and strategies for dealing with challenging behaviors. Top presenters from the east coast presented the latest information on child development and discussed the impact of positive experience on brain development.

Keynote presenter, Keith Pentz, has been a national presenter for the past 15 years with Kaplan Early Learning Company. He spoke on “Making the Body-Brain-Mind Connection in Teaching and Learning.
