Latest Bridgewater Nursing Home Coronavirus Cases, Deaths

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Here are the latest nursing homes and long-term care facilities coronavirus cases and deaths in Bridgewater and Somerset County as of Monday, May 18.

The state has a dashboard set up that tracks the number of cases statewide, including how many cases and fatalities involve long-term care facilities. The latest in Bridgewater show 230 cases are spread among the 7 impacted facilities. There have been 39 deaths at these facilities as reported by the New Jersey Department of Health on Monday.

The largest outbreak in Bridgewater is Martin and Edith Stein Assisted Living Residence, Inc. with 102 cases and 18 deaths.

Comparing Bridgewater to Somerset County, the latest in Somerset County show 1,429 cases are spread among the 31 impacted facilities. There have been 273 deaths at these facilities as reported by the NNJDOH.

The largest outbreak in Somerset County remains at Lyons Campus of the VA New Jersey Health Care System in Basking Ridge. The report shows 169 cases and 42 deaths.
