Laurel Circle to Break Ground on $8 Million Revitalization Plan

Renovations to Bridgewater Senior Living Community Will Deliver Improved Health and Wellness Opportunities to Residents

Next week, Laurel Circle will begin an $8 million revitalization plan aimed at updating and improving community infrastructure and amenities for residents.

“We are taking a health-and-wellness-first approach,” Executive Director Brian Alexopoulos said. “This revitalization plan is LCS’ investment in the residents of Laurel Circle. We know the immense impact updating our community will have on current and future residents.”

The community’s wellness center will see some of the most dramatic changes, including new gym equipment to better suit residents’ needs. In addition, Laurel Circle will add a new outpatient clinic to provide more comprehensive, flexible health services.

The plan also calls for major upgrades to the community’s salon by creating a spa-like atmosphere for residents to enjoy. This includes new salon equipment with new capacities for manicures, pedicures and massages.

“These upgrades will add more opportunity for health and wellness activities and socialization among residents, as well as demonstrate our continued commitment to the care and well-being of everyone at Laurel Circle,” according to Alexopoulos.

In addition to the wellness-focused portion of the investment, the community will upgrade the front lobby to include a more spacious, vibrant greeting place for residents, family members and guests. This includes a refinished concierge desk, ample social space and even a grab-and-go cafe.

“We have a history of resident involvement at the community and we’re fortunate to have resident leadership fully involved in the planning process for this,” Alexopoulos added. “This project will further emphasize the engaging lifestyle we offer, and a sense of home and community from the moment you walk in the doors here.”
