BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Is improving your health and fitness one of your New Year’s resolutions? Learn “5 Tips for Staying Committed to Fitness and Healthy Eating” at the HealthHike Walking Program’s monthly education event on Wednesday, Jan. 4 from 10 to 11 a.m. at AMC Theatres at the Bridgewater Commons mall.

Ryan Stevens, MPS, LAT, ATC, CSCS, clinical supervisor of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset’s Athletic Training and Wellness, will discuss strategies for effective goal setting and important steps to take to reduce the risk of a progress-halting injury, proper warm up approaches, the five key components of a well-rounded fitness program and the value of having a great coach to see improved outcomes and to keep you moving towards your goals.
