Lion Dancers To Celebrate Lunar New Year

Bridgewater Commons, the more than 1.2 million square foot shopping, dining and entertainment center located in Somerset County, will ring in Lunar New Year treating shoppers to the awe and magic of a traditional lion dance in which performers imitate the animal’s movements to offer good luck and fortune.

Beginning Sunday, Feb. 21 at 1:00 p.m., the New York Chinese Freemasons Athletic Club will be on hand to give this colorful performance in celebration of the Year of the Ox thought to bring career advancement, success in business, prosperity and wellness for all zodiac signs. The free, family-friendly performance will be followed by photos with the lions themselves!
