Man Hit By Raritan Valley Train On Easter Sunday In Somerset County
The adult man was hit by the NJ Transit train late Sunday night, said officials.

BOUND BROOK, NJ — An adult man was hit by an NJ Transit train on Easter Sunday.
At around 10:30 p.m., train 5538 on the Raritan Valley line, which left Raritan at 10:15 p.m. and was scheduled to arrive at Newark Penn Station at 11:15 p.m., hit an adult man near the Cedar Ave. crossing in Bound Brook as it was approaching the Dunellon station, said a spokesperson with NJ Transit.
The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, said NJ Transit.

There were no reported injuries to the 55 customers and crew. Service was briefly suspended, but has since resumed.
New Jersey Transit Police are leading the investigation.
