Martinsville Teen on National Champion Lacrosse Team
Allison Mastroianni was on New Jersey squad that won middle school girls title.

When Allison Mastroianni returns to school next month and is asked what she did on her summer vacation, she can say that she became a champion.
Allison, daughter of Daniel and Carol Mastroianni of Martinsville and a graduate of Bridgewater-Raritan Middle School, was a member of the New Jersey team that won the Brine National Lacrosse Championship for middle school girls at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, Md. last month.
Allison, a midfielder, was a member of the New Jersey team that in four tournament days went undefeated in regular pool play, then beat Team Long Island in the finals by a 6-5 score
Allison had been named as a 2013 Brine National All-Star and was selected for the New Jersey team at the championship and Brine National All-Star Lacrosse Academy.The Brine National All-Star Lacrosse Academy brought the top middle school lacrosse players in the country to one venue, where regional teams competed to become the 2013 National Champion. At the academy the laxers took part in a daily curriculum based on position instruction, human performance and sports psychology; the regional teams were mentored by NCAA lacrosse coaches.
