Meal Train, Fundraiser Set Up For Branchburg Mom Diagnosed With ALS
Despite her recent diagnosis, Jill Jaecks McNeil's symptoms have progressed to where she is unable to work, drive, or prepare meals.
BRANCHBURG, NJ — A Branchburg friend, neighbor, and mother Jill Jaecks McNeil needs help after being diagnosed recently with ALS (Amytrophic Lateral Scerloris), also known Lou Gehrig's Disease.
"Many of us learned about this debilitating disease years ago when our families participated in the viral 'ice-bucket challenge.' Sadly, it has become a horrible reality for Jill and her family," wrote Kristin Adams who set up a GoFundMe for Jill and her family.
The progressive disease is already taking a toll on McNeil's life. Her symptoms have already progressed to the point where she is unable to work, drive, or prepare meals.
