WARREN, NJ — Atlantic Health System will be opening at the former Kings Food Market location the Warren Village Shopping Center, according to Atlantic Health spokesman Robert Seman.

The health system is planning to transform and renocate all of the nearly 22,000 square foot building located at the corner of Mountain Boulevard and Warrenville Road into a multispecialty medical location.

The site will offer a new 3,500-square-foot urgent care with a full lab for its patients, as well as a new expanded location for Atlantic Medical Group Primary Care at Warren and Warren Physical Therapy (both currently located at 23 Mountain Blvd).

The site will also have cardiology and pain management offices, which are expansions of Atlantic Health programs in the region. There will also be Behavioral Health office.

Atlantic Health is seeking variances from the Township with regard to operating a medical facility and for parking, said Seman.

The facility would not operate 24 hours or provide surgical procedures on-site.

"We are working to make it easier for people in our communities to access high-quality care close to home. This site would allow Atlantic Health the ability to do just that with a variety of services," said Paul Marmora, CPA, MBA, Vice President, Ambulatory Services and Network Development for Atlantic Health System. "We would welcome the opportunity to expand our role as a member of the Warren community."

This site would add to Atlantic Health System’s growing number of outpatient multispecialty sites, such as the Atlantic Health System Clark-North Pavilion, Atlantic Health System Bridgewater Pavilion, Atlantic Health System Paramus Pavilion, Morristown Medical Center Health Pavilion in Rockaway and the newly opened location in Metuchen.

Both the Warren and Bernardsville locations of the Kings Food Markets permanently closed in January 2021 after Acme Markets, Inc. purchased these and 17 other Kings locations. Read More: Warren, Bernardsville Food Markets To Close Next Week
