Meet 'Sopranos' Stars At Somerset Patriots Game

"Johnny Sack" and "Furio Giunta" actors will meet fans and throw out first pitches at the Somerset Patriots game on Aug. 27.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees Double-A affiliate, will host "The Sopranos" stars Vincent Curatola and Federico Castelluccio at TD Bank Ballpark on Thursday, Aug. 27.

The actors will participate in a themed night during the Patriots' game against the Akron Rubber Ducks, which begins at 6:35 p.m.

Curatola, known for his role as Johnny Sack, and Castelluccio, who played Furio Giunta, are scheduled to participate in a pre-game VIP Meet & Greet in the SK Club. Following this, they will throw out ceremonial first pitches. Later, the actors will meet fans on the main concourse for pictures during the game.

The game is presented by the New Jersey Lottery. It will include various promotions and activities aligned with the iconic television series. The first 1,000 adults aged 18 and over will receive a Bowling Shirt.

The VIP Meet & Greet package in the SK Club costs $150. This package includes a game ticket for the exclusive space, an all-you-can-eat Italian buffet, a picture with both Curatola and Castelluccio, and an autograph from each actor. Ticketholders must provide their own item for the autograph. This package also guarantees a themed bowling shirt for attendees aged 18 and over.

Fans also have the option to pre-purchase a package for $60 that includes a game ticket and a picture with both Curatola and Castelluccio. This interaction will take place when the actors are on the main concourse during the game.

Vincent Curatola, an Englewood native, portrayed New York mob boss Johnny Sack on HBO's "The Sopranos" from 1999 to 2007. Federico Castelluccio, who moved to Paterson, played Furio Giunta from 2000 to 2002. "The Sopranos" was broadcast on HBO from 1999 to 2007 and is widely recognized for its cultural impact.
