Update: Missing Child Found Safe In Somerset County

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — A 14-year-old boy is missing in the Somerset County are and the community is needed to help find him.
Sebastian Bermudez, age 14, went missing from Basking Ridge on Saturday, Aug. 26.

He was a resident of the Bonnie Brae School who purposefully and without permission, walked off school grounds and traveled to Bound Brook where he has family and friends who are believed to be harboring him, according to police and friends of the family.
"The Bernards Township Police Department has been attempting to confirm his location frequently and have been in communication with his guardians," said Bernards Township Police Chief Jon Burger.

He was spotted on Tuesday, Aug. 29 at Walgreens on Union Avenue in Bound Brook, according to family friend Ashley Sikora.
Sebastian is described as 5-foot 7-inches tall and weighing 160 pounds.
