More Snow In Somerset County: How Much Fell?

While it was not nearly as much as what fell on Monday, here is what we got on Wednesday morning:

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — Locals awoke to more snow on Wednesday morning in Somerset County. While it was not nearly as much as what fell on Monday, here is what we got:

The most snow that fell was 1.2 inches in North Brunswick(Middlesex County). Across the state, the amounts ranged from a dusting to one inch, according to the National Weather Service.

In Somerset County, Bernards Township had the highest measured at 0.9 inches.

Here is a look at the county results:

  • Watchung - 0.8 inches
  • Bridgewater Township - 0.7 inches
  • Franklin Township - 0.6 inches
  • Manville - 0.3 inches

While there is another chance to see more snow on Thursday, it doesn't appear to be much.

Wednesday: A chance of snow before 10 a.m. Cloudy early, then gradual clearing, with a high near 44. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 28. West wind around 5 mph.

Thursday: A chance of snow after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 40. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 20. Calm wind.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 42. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 25.
