More Supplies Needed In Bridgewater To Help Dogs Coming From Texas

Towels, bleach, pet carriers are needed at Somerset Regional Animal Shelter in Bridgewater as they brace for the arrival of Texas dogs.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Somerset Regional Animal Shelter in Bridgewater continues to need more supplies as they brace for the arrival of dogs from Texas.

Once the animals arrive, donations are needed for medical care, vaccinations and cleaning supplies such as bleach and paper towels.

Additionally, the shelter has donated all of their carriers to help the folks in Texas.

"If anyone wishes to donate a carrier for future transports, we would greatly appreciate it," the shelter wrote.

Donations can also be dropped off while the shelter is open noon to 4 p.m. daily with extended hours on Wednesday until 7 p.m. If you do not need a donation receipt, towels can be dropped off 24/7 in the donation bin underneath the shelter's carport.
