Motorcyclist Airlifted To Hospital After Route 202 Crash In Branchburg
The crash involved a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a grey Volvo on Friday morning.
BRANCHBURG, NJ — A motorcyclist was airlifted to a hospital following a serious crash with a car on Friday morning in Branchburg.
At around 7:38 a.m. on Sept. 8, Branchburg Police were called to the area of Route 202 North and North Branch River Road for the report of a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.
The crash involved a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a grey Volvo, said Branchburg Police Lt. Edward Edgar.

Both drivers were injured and Somerset Robert Wood Johnson Paramedics and EMS came to help.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to a nearby hospital by a New Jersey State Police Medevac helicopter, said Edgar.

The driver of the Volvo was assessed on scene by Somerset RWJ EMS, and ultimately refused further medical attention.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene due to the damage from the crash.
Branchburg Rescue Squad and Country Hills Volunteer Fire Company also came out to the scene to help.
