Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Losing Control, Crashing On I-78 In Somerset County

BEDMINSTER, NJ — A motorcyclist is hospitalized after they lost control on Interstate 78 in Bedminster on Wednesday, said New Jersey State Police(NJSP) Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron to Patch.

NJSP Troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash at 10:14 a.m. on I-78 West at milepost 27 in Bedminster Township.

Based on a preliminary investigation, the driver of a BMW motorcycle lost control, causing it to overturn, said Lebron.

The driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital.

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available at this time.
