Multiple Bridgewater Roads To Be Repaved

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Construction will take place on multiple Somerset County roadways that run through Bridgewater as part of the county's summer road resurfacing project.

Work will be conducted this week and continue through the middle of September, according to the county.

From 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. during weekdays through Sept. 4, manhole and inlet repairs, signal work and ADA ramps will be done on County Route 614 (Easton Turnpike) in Branchburg and Bridgewater from Route 22 to Garretson Road. One lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On Sept. 5 through Sept. 13, milling and paving work will then be done on Easton Turnpike from Route 22 to Garretson Road and on County Route 637 (RVCC Drive) from Easton Turnpike to Route 22. Work will be done between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Commons Ways from Route 22 to Route 202 and Fifth Street from Commons Way to the end will also be milled and paved this week through Aug. 28 from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

New piping will also be installed on Mountain Avenue in Bridgewater from Meadowbrook Ave to 500 feet north of Scheurman Terrace on Morning Glory Road in Warren from Sept. 3 to Sept. 12 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. One lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Tuesday, Aug. 27 to Friday, Aug. 30: Inlet/Manhole repairs on CR527 Valley Road in Watchung from Hillcrest Road to Bayberry Lane
• Monday, Aug. 26 to Thursday, Aug. 29: ADA ramps on CR527 Valley Road in Watchung from Hillcrest Road to Bayberry Lane
• Monday, Aug. 26 to Thursday, Aug. 29: Signal work on CR614 Easton Turnpike in Branchburg/Bridgewater from Route 22 to Garretson Road
• Friday, Aug. 30 to Wednesday, Sept. 4: ADA ramps on CR614 Easton Turnpike in Branchburg/Bridgewater from Route 22 to Garretson Road
• Tuesday, Sept. 3 to Wednesday, Sept. 4: Manhole/Inlet repairs on CR614 Easton Turnpike in Branchburg/Bridgewater from Route 22 to Garretson Road
• Tuesday, Sept. 3 to Thursday, Sept. 12: Pipe installation CR527 Mountain Ave/Morning Glory Road in Warren/Green Brook/Bridgewater from Meadowbrook Ave to 500’ North of Scheurman Terrace
