Murphy Donuts Is Bridgewater's Pet Of The Week

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Meet Murphy Donuts! He has been chosen as Bridgewater Patch's Pet Of The Week!

"Murphy Donuts came into our life during a transitional time. He has had a very transitional life himself, having been adopted twice, in Kentucky and New Jersey, prior to our meeting him, and had sadly been returned both times.

When my husband, Pete, and I met him, we knew immediately he was our doggo! Adopting a senior dog has been incredibly rewarding as well; Murphy is almost nine but you definitely can’t tell, he’s so energetic!

Knowing he’s home for good with us fills my heart! We’ve given each other stability and unconditional love! "

Do you think your pet should be Bridgewater's Pet of the Week?

Participating in the Pet of the Week happenings is simple: submit your nomination by emailing alexis.tarrazi@patch.com with subject line "Bridgewater Pet Of The Week." Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the town you're from.

You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today. All photos must be property of the submitter.

Additionally, selected winners each week will be given a free treat bag when they stop in Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming inside Bridgewater Towne Center at 732 US-202. And winners can also bring their pet into the store for a picture. Woof Gang Bakery will put them up on their Facebook page as well.
