BRANCHBURG, NJ — A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Monday to celebrate the grand opening of Cornerstone at Branchburg, a LEED®-certified community offering 150 age (55+) and income-restricted housing units, announced Walters.

The event was held at 1000 Cornerstone Drive in Branchburg (at the corner of Old York Road and Route 202).

Branchburg’s Deputy Mayor Anna Columbus, New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA) Credit Officer Michael Coe, and Branchburg Police Chief Richard Buck joined the Walters’ team for the ribbon cutting.

"Thanks to all the people that made this happen," said Joseph Del Duca, partner and director of affordable housing for Walters. "We’re extremely grateful to the Township of Branchburg for their support from the start of this project. They’ve been a good partner to work with and we hope it will continue to be a long-term and happy relationship."

Earlier this year some residents began moving into the apartment community with the first building nearly full.
