New Assistant Principal Appointed At Hillside Intermediate School

Jacquelyn Ciurleo was named to replace the retiring Marc Hungarter effective July 1.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A new Assistant Principal was appointed at the Hillside Intermediate School by the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District at its March 26 meeting.

Jacquelyn Ciurleo was named to replace the retiring Marc Hungarter effective July 1.

"Well deserved, we are delighted that you applied for the position and were named to it, so once more congratulations," said Superintendent Robert Beers at the meeting.

Ciurleo has worked in the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District for 23 years, serving the past 11 years as the Elementary Teaching Specialist at the John. F. Kennedy Primary School. She previously taught first grade at John. F. Kennedy for 12 years and also taught first grade in the Livingston School District for six years.

"I am excited to transition to an administrative role with the Bridgewater-Raritan School District at Hillside Intermediate School as Assistant Principal. I am committed to working with [Hillside Principal Dr. Tali Axelrod] to ensure that every member of the Hillside School community feels valued, supported, and empowered," said Ciruleo.
