New Bagel Shop To Open In Martinsville
This would be Gabe's Bagels' fourth location in New Jersey and first in Somerset County.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A new bagel shop is coming to the Martinsville section of Bridgewater.
Gabe's Bagels is looking to open sometime in January inside the Squires Garden shopping center on the corner of Chimney Rock Road and Washington Valley Road, said owner Gabe Gebril.
Gebril owns three other locations in East Hanover, Chatham, and Fair Lawn. He is now expanding into Somerset County with the Martinsville location and possibly a location in Hillsborough in the near future.

Gebril said he chose Martinsville because he noticed there weren't really any bagel shops in the area.
"I wanted to give residents another option to have a bagel shop," said Gebril.

Gabe's Bagels has been in business for the past 25 years and Gebril credits his success to offering everything from scratch.
"We hand roll our bagels and do everything from scratch. The bagels are New York style," said Gebril.
Along with bagels, Gabe's will offer breakfast sandwiches, grilled sandwiches, spreads, grilled cheeses, cold-cut sandwiches, hot and cold sandwiches, and more.
Most importantly, Gebril loves to give back and will be offering discounts for kids in school and anyone who serves the community such as police officers, firefighters, and others.
A website is currently in the works. Check back with Patch for when an opening date is announced.
