New Bubble Tea House To Open First Somerset County Location
Gong Cha is getting ready to open a new location in the Bridgewater mall. This would be the franchise's first Somerset County location.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A new bubble tea house is getting ready to open its first Somerset County location inside the Bridgewater Commons.
The Taiwan-based tea store, Gong Cha Tea, will be located on the Upper Level in between Victor's Secret and Oakley in the mall at 400 Commons Way in Bridgewater.
Signs on the storefront say "Coming Soon." The store is slated to open in early November, according to Bridgewater Commons.

Gong Chai Tea was founded in 2006 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and the name translates to "tribute tea for the emperor." It now has 1,800 locations. The Bridgewater location would make the franchise's first Somerset County location.
