New Bubble Tea House Is Opening Saturday At Bridgewater Commons
This will be Gong Cha's first Somerset County location.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Gong Cha Tea, a new bubble tea house, is opening its first Somerset County location inside the Bridgewater Commons on Saturday, according to a spokeswoman with the mall.
The Taiwan-based tea store, Gong Cha Tea, will be located on the Upper Level in between Victor's Secret and Oakley in the mall at 400 Commons Way in Bridgewater.
Gong Chai Tea was founded in 2006 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and the name translates to "tribute tea for the emperor." It now has 1,800 locations. The Bridgewater location would make the franchise's first Somerset County location.

According to its website, Gong cha offers:
- Fresh Tea brewed throughout the day
- Pearls (bubbles) freshly prepared to perfection continuously throughout the day
- Tea sourced from the finest tea estates in Taiwan
- Strict quality controls for all ingredients
