New Candy Store, Arcade Room Coming To Somerset County

SOMERVILLE, NJ — A new candy store is coming soon to downtown Somerville.

The Candy House, opening at 30 West Main Street in Somerville, describes the business as a place for "Sweet Treats & Good Times."

According to the business, The Candy House plans to offer candy, gourmet chocolate and drinks.

The business also says it will include parties, events and "Game Room Fun," pointing to a mix of retail and family entertainment in the downtown district.

The Candy House says its concept is centered on nostalgia and shared experiences.

"At The Candy House, we believe the best memories are made over sweet treats, laughter, and a little bit of nostalgia," according to the business description.

The business says it wants to create "a magical place in Somerville where kids, families, and even adults can step back into simpler times while discovering new favorites along the way."

According to the description, the store is planned to include classic nostalgic candies, unique sweets, toys, gifts, arcade fun and a welcoming event space.

The business also outlines a broader community focus for the downtown location.

It says the shop is intended for a range of visits, including birthday celebrations, family outings and quick stops for dessert or drinks.
