New Gym Opening In Bridgewater
The Zoo Health Club is planning to open 17,000-sq.-ft. facility in the fall at the Somerset Shopping Center off the Somerville Circle.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Flemington local David Barone has leased 17,000 square feet at Somerset Shopping Center in Bridgewater to open The Zoo Health Club. This would be the franchise's first location in the Garden State.
The franchise does have 48 clubs currently open nationwide, according to Vanessa Fernandez, a Levin Management Corporation leasing representative, who negotiated the long-term lease at the 219,000-square-foot center.
"We are in the renovation phase right now," said Barone to Patch. "We are looking to start offering pre-sale enrollment in August and September and be open in October or November."

“What makes The Zoo Health Club unique is that our workout model caters to all demographics,” said Barone said in a statement. “At this new facility, exercisers of all ages and fitness levels are welcome. Somerset Shopping Center is a well-located, well-maintained and accessible shopping center, making it the perfect location for this chain’s entry into the New Jersey market. I look forward to introducing The Zoo Health Club experience to residents of Bridgewater and surrounding communities.”
