New Peruvian Restaurant & Bar Opens On Route 22
PachaMama is opening in the former Tacos El Tio location.

GREEN BROOK, NJ — PachaMama, a new Peruvian American restaurant and bar, opened Friday in Somerset County.
PachaMama opened at 215 Route 22 in Green Brook (which was formerly Tacos El Tio).
"Pachamama is a Latin American restaurant bringing in the flavors and colors from South America. The restaurant has a nature-inspired atmosphere, which compliments the playful cocktails/mocktails and dishes. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, making it the perfect place to spend date night or hang out with friends and family," according to pachamamanj.com.

Menu items include:
- Seafood Chupe - Mixed Seafood, Sofrito, Rice, Green Peas, Yellow Potato, Corn, Cheese, Market Fish, Tiger Milk, Sweet Potato, Peruvian Corn
- Classic Ceiche - Market Fish, Tiger Milk, Sweet Potato, Peruvian Corn
- Lomo Saltado Quesadilla - Hanger Steak, Potatoes, Cheese, Pico de Gallo, Guacamole, Sour Cream
- Baked Peruvian Chicken - Half Marinated Chicken, Herb Fries, House Salad, Yellow Pepper Sauce
The restaurant is open Wednesday from 4 to 10 p.m., Thursday from 4 to 11 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m., Saturday from noon to 1 a.m., Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. and closed on Monday and Tuesday.
