Superintendent Contract, New Venue For Bridgewater-Raritan School Board Meetings
Following renovation work needed after Hurricane Ida, the school board will move their meetings back to the Wade Building beginning Tuesday.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater-Raritan Board of Education meetings will now return to being held at the Wade Building beginning on Tuesday, July 18.
Meetings had previously been held at the Wade Administration Building at 836 Newmans Lane in the Martinsville section of Bridgewater. However, due to renovation work needed after Hurricane Ida in 2021, the meetings were moved to the high school's media center.
The renovations included new carpet, paint, and adding a few video terminals for presentations to Conference A and B at the Wade Administration Building.

The first school board meeting for the 2023-24 school year will kick off on July 18 which includes approving Superintendent Robert Beers new contract with the district and making a payment of roughly $350,000 for roof replacements on the high school 500 & 600.
Beers became the district's new superintendent in August 2021. This new contract will be effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2028.

Under the new contract, Beers would receive a salary of $247,500 for the 2023-2024 school year with a salary increase for each subsequent year of employment.
The salary breakdown includes:
- 2023-24: $240,500
- 2024-25: $254,925
- 2025-26: $262,572.75
- 2026-27: $270,450
- 2027-2028: $278,563.50
