New Police Officer Sworn To Serve Bridgewater Township
Justin Fisher was sworn in at the Sept. 5 Township Council meeting.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A new officer was recently sworn to serve on the Bridgewater Police Department.
Officer Justin Fisher was sworn in by Mayor Matthew Moench at the Sept. 5 Township Council meeting.
"It's incredibly important to me to make sure I reiterate to our new officers as they get sworn in, to their families, about how much we value what you will do for us and our community," said Moench at the meeting.

Fisher comes to Bridgewater as a fully sworn police officer. He has worked for the Camden County Police Department for the past year.
"I am sure his experience in Camden County has prepared him for his new position as a Bridgewater Police Officer," said Bridgewater Police Chief John Mitzak.

Fisher was born in Voorhees and currently resides in Burlington County. He attended Lenape
Regional High School.
After high school, he attended Florida Southern College. He completed one year there before
transferring to Rowan University where he earned his bachelor’s degree. After college and before he started his career in law enforcement, Fisher worked for Live Casino and Hotel in Philadelphia and also at Harrah’s Casino and racetrack.
He attended the Camden County Police Academy and became a certified police officer in 2023.
"In closing, Justin, I thank you for becoming part of the Bridgewater PD family. We will provide you with the equipment and training to have a safe and effective career," said Mitzak. "Your goals while working here are to do your best every day for the Bridgewater Community and your fellow officers and to go home to your loved ones every night."
