New Senior Living Community To Open In Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Construction is underway on a new senior living community off Route 22 East in Bridgewater. It is scheduled for completion by the end of 2018.

Sunrise of Bridgewater will be an approximately 83-unit, 67,500 square-foot senior living community that provides personalized, high-quality assisted living and memory care support for area families, located near Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Somerset Medical Center.

Other amenities include:

• Electronic health records
• WiFi connectivity throughout the community for residents and their visitors
• Senior-friendly interior design and décor – local art will be featured throughout the community
• Multiple skylights on the third floor will allow daylight to stream into the memory care neighborhood; all-stone fireplaces
• A private wellness center with therapy rooms and a private exam room
• “Way-finding” color wallpaper in the memory care neighborhood, strategically placed to help residents better distinguish different corridors and locate their rooms. This helps promote independence and preserve dignity.
• Exterior of community custom designed with local architecture and aesthetics in mind, including landscaped outdoor spaces
• Nutritious, chef-prepared meals
• Daily physical fitness, creative social, learning and spiritual activities, scheduled group trips and resident-sponsored clubs
