New Store Openings Coming To Bridgewater Commons In 2026
Anthropologie and Popeyes have opened at Bridgewater Commons, with four more stores to follow.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater Commons is continuing a multiyear push to add new retail and dining tenants, with two recent openings and more stores and expansions planned throughout 2026 at the Somerset County mall.
On Jan. 28, Anthropologie opened in a 9,577-square-foot space on the Main Level by Bloomingdale’s. The store carries fashion, home furnishings and décor, garden items and gifting.
The location also includes Anthropologie Weddings, with bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, accessories and wedding stylists. Bridgewater Commons said it is Anthropologie’s only wedding service location in New Jersey.

"Anthropologie is one of the most in-demand lifestyle brands in retail, offering a uniquely eclectic and entertaining mix of artistry and quality in its apparel, accessories and decor. We’re thrilled to welcome them to Bridgewater Commons," said Troy Fischer, senior general manager of Bridgewater Commons. "And there will be more excitement to come as we continue our reinvention of the center with the addition of more of the retail, dining and entertainment experiences that our guests want and deserve."
On March 9, Popeyes opened a new 644-square-foot location in the mall’s food court.

Bridgewater Commons said the restaurant includes AI-powered touch-screen self-service kiosks, which have usage rates of more than 70 percent in some locations and are designed to reduce wait times and allow digital in-store ordering.
More changes are planned in the coming months.
In the second quarter, Bridgewater Commons said Rowan will open a new 1,034-square-foot studio offering ear piercing and hypoallergenic jewelry.
Pandora is also set to reopen in a larger 1,050-square-foot space on the Main Level near lululemon.
In the third quarter, Aerie is scheduled to open an expanded 9,839-square-foot store on the Upper Level next to American Eagle.
In the fourth quarter, OFFLINE by Aerie is planned for Aerie’s former 2,907-square-foot space on the Main Level, with activewear and athleisure apparel and accessories.
"OFFLINE by Aerie is one of the most exciting and fastest-growing brands in retail," Fischer said. "The ability to offer three brands from the American Eagle Outfitters portfolio — American Eagle, Aerie, and now OFFLINE — to our guests is a tremendous testament to our successful modernization of our tenant mix over the last two years."
Since Pacific Retail Capital Partners acquired the mall located off Commons Way in 2023, the company has added more than 87,000 square feet of new retailers, restaurants and service providers, including Kendra Scott, Alo Yoga, Fogo de Chão and Miniso, according to the mall.
