"Medical patients where I live in Morris County have to drive over 45 minutes to get medicine," Trent, a Hun School of Princeton graduate previously told Patch.

Valley Wellness opened its doors on Nov. 30, 2022, after its initial application to the Cannabis Regularity Commission in 2019. Trent says it was the highest scoring applicant in its class, the first independently owned and operated dispensary to open in the state, and the first dispensary to open in Somerset County.

"I’ve personally overseen purchasing since we opened our doors 30 days ago and I strive to
curate a menu that has a wide variety of selection, so that patients can conveniently shop for the
best products for them," said Trent.

Through three generations, over 50 years perfecting the art of growing better plants, and over a decade of experience in cannabis, Hillview Farms is bringing its cannabis offerings to New Jersey.

"We are excited to be launching Hillview Farms here in our home state," said Ken VandeVrede,
CEO. "We are committed to our community and are proud to be leaders in quality and value. We
truly believe that Hillview Farms is the flower New Jersey deserves."
