NJ Spots Offering Father's Day Specials

Father's Day is Sunday and many local eateries are cheering to dads with food, drink and dessert specials. Check out what's in store for dad.

Applebee’s® Neighborhood Grill + Bar is offering its Father’s Day Feast special, available on Sunday and gift card deals for dads and grads.

The Father’s Day Feast includes a 4 oz. sirloin, chicken, half rack of ribs and two classic sides for $19.99. Upgrade to signature sides for $1.99 each and upgrade to an 8 oz. steak for $5 more per entrée.

Additionally, from now until July 1, for every $50 gift card purchase, guests will receive a free bonus card valued at $10 at participating locations.

And the Brick, Bridgewater, Butler, Flemington, Kearny, Manchester, Milltown, Ocean Township and Wall locations will also offer a free $5 bonus card for every $25 gift card purchase. Bonus cards valid from next visit through August 12 at New Jersey locations owned and operated by Doherty Enterprises.

Applebee’s also welcomes back the $1 Long Island Iced Tea, better known as the DOLLAR L.I.T.™, along with a new $5 Mucho Top Shelf L.I.T. all month long as the perfect drinks to kick off the summer.

Chevys Fresh Mex is wishing dads in New Jersey a Happy Padre’s Day with some fresh mex favorites straight from the grill.

On Sunday, restaurants in Clifton and Linden will offer hot ribs and cold beer all day long. The $19 award-winning baby back ribs are tender, pulled-off-the-bone baby back ribs in choice of original or mexican BBQ sauce with a spicy jalapeno jelly, french fries, charro beans and corn tomalito. There are also $6 Corona premier bottles.

Customers 21 can also get a taste of the tropics with $10 Bacardi Buckets, available all summer long on the patio at the Clifton location.

Baskin-Robbins is honoring dads nationwide this Father’s Day with a lineup of ice cream cakes that will satisfy every dad’s sweet tooth.

Baskin-Robbins’ new Banner Cookie Cake and Bowtie and Suspenders Cookie Cake combine two popular sweet treats – cookies and ice cream – into one dessert. Each cake features two 9” chocolate chip cookie crusts with a layer of ice cream in between and is decorated with colorful icing and rainbow sprinkles.

Also returning is The Cold One Cake and OREO® Triple Chocolate Cake. The Cold One Cake is shaped like a mug, and says cheers to Dad in a flavorful and frosty way, to help him kick back, relax and celebrate his day.

The OREO® Triple Chocolate cake is elegant and decadent, featuring an OREO®-infused chocolate frosting, topped with a mouthwatering ganache and alternating goodness of OREO® cookies, frosting rosettes and chocolate triangles.
