'No Kings' Protest Against Trump Draws Huge Crowd In Somerset County: Photos

SOMERVILLE, NJ — Droves of people showed up with signs and costumes for the "No Kings" protests against President Donald Trump on Saturday at the Somerset County Courthouse.

Protestors gathered outside the Courthouse off Main Street in Somerville. The majority of the peaceful protest consisted of people against Trump, while there was also a group supporting the President.

In Somerset County, local protests occurred at the Somerset County Courthouse in Somerville and off Route 22 in North Plainfield.

The demonstrations were organized independently by local advocacy groups and community members. Dozens of national groups and nonprofits supported the events as partners.

The nationwide mobilization - billed as the largest single-day protest in U.S. history - was organized across the nation to protest President Trump as a tyrant and authoritarian.

This was the third round of No Kings rallies that have taken place since Trump took office for his second term.
