Nonprofits Invited To Enter Drawing For Tickets To Somerset Patriots

SOMERVILLE, NJ – Nonprofit and community organizations will have the opportunity to score free tickets to 2023 Patriots home games and box seats in the Somerset County Board of Commissioners reserved seating at the TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater. Organizations must enter the annual 2023 County Commissioners Box Seat Drawing by Feb. 24. The commissioners will announce the winners in March.

“The county has a strong partnership with our local nonprofits and community organizations, which helps strengthen our communities by providing resources and outreach to our residents,” said Commissioner Director Shanel Y. Robinson. “The annual drawing is one small way for Somerset County to thank those dedicated to supporting and making our communities stronger.”

Eligibility
Applicants that meet one of the following criteria are eligible to enter the drawing:

• Nonprofit organizations with 50 percent of its clients residing in Somerset County
• Community organizations that serve county residents
• Out-of-county facilities that provide significant community service or volunteerism for the residents of Somerset County

Submission Deadline, Entry Forms
Entry forms must be received or postmarked by 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, and include:

• The organization’s name and address
• A contact person’s name and phone number
• The organization’s mission or purpose
• Information about the organization’s volunteer work and/or community service

Community Box Seat Guidelines
Organizations must comply with all applicable rules, regulations and ordinances when using the commissioners’ community box. Groups are responsible for purchasing any food or beverages. The community box is accessible to people with disabilities.

TD Bank Ballpark
The ballpark is owned by Somerset County, New Jersey and operated by the Somerset Patriots. Opened in 1999, TD Bank Ballpark has an average of 360,000 visitors each year and 5,000 fans visit the ballpark each game. In 2015 and 2016, it was voted one of the “Best Ballparks” by Ballpark Digest.
