Nov. 17- Branchburg Woman's Club 31st Annual Craft Sale
Handmade Crafts, Art, a 50/50 Raffle, Bake Sale, and Refreshments! Benefits Charities and Student Achievement Awards.
Branchburg, Somerset County, NJ - One of a kind, handmade crafts and art await shoppers at the Branchburg Woman's Club's 31st Annual Craft Sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, November 17 in Branchburg Central Middle School, located across from White Oak Park on Baird Road. Admission is $1 for adults, but parking is free.
The yearly event celebrates the creative spirit and supports the BWC's charitable donations and student achievement awards fund. New this year, there will be a cash-only 50-50 Raffle. Door prizes and the club's popular bake sale will add to the fun. Hungry shoppers should enjoy the club's refreshments and cafe area.
Two big rooms will be transformed into a marketplace of fine handmade crafts, gifts, and art. There will be a wide variety of unique jewelry, natural skincare products, chocolate gifts, unique hand-turned wooden objects and bowls, mixed media art, paintings, stained glass, dolls and accessories, keepsakes, fashions and accessories, toys, baby gifts, greeting cards, ceramics, home decor, pet gifts, and holiday items. An exciting mix of skilled artisans new to the BWC event, plus select popular crafters, will be selling their best work. Local handicrafts include the ever-popular nature art from photographer and adventure writer JJ Mish plus honey and beeswax products from Neshanic Station Apiaries. This year's gift shopping should "bee" easy!
Local area women interested in the Branchburg Woman's Club are invited to pick up a club brochure at the Craft Sale's welcome table. The next club meeting will be 7:00 p.m. (new starting time), Thursday, November 15 at Branchburg's Little Red Schoolhouse on South Branch Road. The Magic Mirror Players from RWJ University Hospital will perform. Refreshments and the club meeting will follow the presentation. Meeting attendees are asked to bring a canned food item or personal care item as a donation to the Food Bank Network of Somerset County.
