Officials To Meet With Somerville Commuters About Rail Services
The DOT and NJ Transit will host public meetings to discuss current line suspensions and service improvement on a number of rail lines.

PRINCETON, NJ — Officials will be hosting several meetings, including in Somerville, to discuss current line suspensions and service improvement with commuters.
The meeting will provide up-to-date information on restoration of service and respond to other concerns and issues commuters face. The Somerville meeting will be held on March 6 at 6:30 p.m. at Urban Drive at the foot of Division Street, one block west of S. Bridge Street in Somerville.
Assembly Transportation and Independent Authorities Committee Chairman Daniel Benson and Vice Chairwoman Patricia Egan Jones along with legislators and New Jersey Department of Transportation Commissioner Diane Gutierrez-Scaccetti will be hosting the meeting.

"The public deserves answers and better communications on progress to restoration of an acceptable level of service. As a request of our Committee, we hope the Commissioner and NJ TRANSIT use these opportunities to not only truly listen to riders experience but use them to inform their action to resolve the continuing problems facing this agency," said Benson (D-Mercer, Middlesex).

- Princeton Rail Station (Dinky Station): Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 6 p.m. University Place, 1 block north of Alexander Road, Princeton
- Atlantic City: Thursday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. 1 Atlantic City Expressway Atlantic City
- Cherry Hill: Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. 820 Mercer Street, Cherry Hill
- Westfield: March 6 at 5 p.m. South Ave and Summit Ave., Westfield
- Somerville: March 6 at 6:30 p.m. Urban Drive at foot of Division St. 1 block west of S. Bridge St. Somerville
- Morristown: March 11 at 6 p.m. Morristown Municipal Building 50 Woodland Ave., Morristown
