Firefighters Stop Fuel Spill Spread From Overturned Truck Crash In Bedminster
The crash was located on the ramp from I-287 North to Route 202/206 North on the Bedminster and Bridgewater border.
BEDMINSTER, NJ — Quick-thinking volunteer firefighters were able to stop a fuel spill from spreading further into surrounding waterways following an overturned tractor-trailer crash on Wednesday morning.
At around 5:30 a.m., an overturned tractor-trailer was reported on the Interstate 287 North ramp for Exit 22 for Route 202/206 in Bedminster.
Volunteers from the Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Department "mitigated a diesel leak and took steps to protect surrounding waterways."

Along with the fire department, the New Jersey State Police, Far Hills-Bedminster First Aid Squad, Somerset County Hazmat, and Mike's Towing & Recovery came out to help.
All lanes have since been reopened.
