BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The national Papyrus chain of stationery stores recently announced that it would close all of its stores, including the Bridgewater location.

In the letter to employees, Schurman Retail Group COO Dominique Schurman said the closings were due to the "current challenges of the retail industry," according to Retail Dive.

On Thursday, the chain's website offered the same discount of 20 to 40 percent off, saying all sales are final.

The company, which once had 450 locations, is down to 254 stores, which are currently in liquidation, according to Fortune.
