Park Commission to Offer Swim & Tennis Lessons
Warrenbrook Pool, Green Knoll & Colonial Park Tennis Centers
Somerset County Park Commission’s Warrenbrook Pool, located on Warrenville Road in Warren Township, is the county’s only public outdoor swimming facility. Public use of the pool is available by both seasonal passes and daily admissions. The facility will open for the season on Saturday, May 26 at 12:00 Noon for weekends only and will be open daily from June 23 through September 3, 2018.
A variety of swim lessons are offered for swimmers of all ability level including Toddlers, Beginner I, Beginner II, Advanced Beginner, and Intermediate. All classes run for two-week sessions, Monday through Friday, June 25 to July 6; July 9 to July 20; and July 23 to August 3. Classes run for forty minutes either from 10:15 A.M. to10:55 A.M. or from 11:00 A.M to11:40 A.M. The fee for each class is $70 and class size is limited.

Mail-in registration for Somerset County residents only is now available for swim lessons and seasonal and county ID passes. Registration for out-of-county residents begins on Saturday, May 26, 2018 as space permits. For additional information call 908 722-1200, ext. 5018.

Tennis lessons are offered at both the Green Knoll Tennis Center on Garretson Road in Bridgewater and at the Colonial Park Tennis Center on Colonial Drive in East Millstone. Registration applications will only be accepted at Green Knoll.
Lessons are available for Beginner, beginner/Advanced Beginner, and Intermediate/Advanced. The one-week lesson series will begin at Green Knoll on Monday, June 25, 2018 and at Colonial Park on Monday, July 9, 2018.
Green Knoll sessions run from 8:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. and from 9:45 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Colonial Park lessons run from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. Fee is $70 per week at either facility. Registration forms are available at each Tennis Center or by calling 908-722-1200, ext. 5021.
