The Somerset County Park Commission Park Rangers are seeking young people ages 6 to 12 to participate in their 2019 Junior Ranger Programs.
Children who enjoy hiking, discovering wildlife, and are interested in learning more about the environment and its inhabitants are perfect Junior Ranger candidates. Junior Rangers, along with their families and guardians, will learn about the natural world and how ecosystems work alongside the Somerset County Park Rangers.
Junior Ranger plans for 2019 include a two-part series on tree life, the lives of fireflies, bats, spiders and more. The programs offer an opportunity for children to connect with the Park Rangers, other young people who share their interests, and explore the wonders found in our local Somerset County parks.
