Part Of Vosseller Avenue Closed For 2 Weeks For Repairs

This is in addition to closures on Chimney Rock Road and a portion of Route 22 East in Bridgewater for repairs following Tropical Storm Ida.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A portion of Vosseller Avenue will be closed for about two weeks for repairs following Tropical Storm Ida, Bridgewater Police announced Wednesday.

The roadway will be closed between Middlebrook Road and Hillcrest Road, said police.

Chimney Rock Road between Thompson Avenue and Gilbride Road also remains closed. Police are hoping it will reopen on Thursday.

New Jersey Department of Transportation closed a portion of Route 22 east from Interstate 287 to Chimney Rock Road for repairs.

All trucks 15 tons or more must use Washington Valley Road to Roue 202/206 to Route 22 to access Stavola Quarry.

All other vehicles should use Washington Valley Road to Morning Glory Road to North Mountain Avenue.
