Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots defeated the York Revolution 6-5 at TD Bank Ballpark on Monday evening.
The Revolution jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning on a two-run double by Eric Patterson and a sacrifice fly by Chad Tracy.

The Patriots wasted no time tying up the game in the bottom of the frame on a three-run home run by Ty Wright (4).

Somerset took the lead with three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning on a Jonny Tucker RBI single, an RBI double by Edwin Maysonet, and an RBI grounder by Adam Donachie to make the score 6-3.
York cut the lead to 6-4 on an RBI groundout by Wilson Valdez in the top of the fifth inning.
The Revolution made it a one run game in the top of the ninth on an RBI ground out by Justin Greene for the 6-5 final.
Patriots starter Erik Arnesen (4-2) picked up the win, allowing four runs on nine hits in seven innings pitched. York starter Alain Quijano (4-3) suffered the loss, allowing six runs on 11 hits in 5.2 innings pitched. Jon Hunton earned his ninth save of the season.
