Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots defeated the Bridgeport Bluefish 3-2 in 11 innings at TD Bank Ballpark on Sunday afternoon. With the 46 wins this half, the Patriots tied a team record set last year for a single half with one makeup game that will be played on July 30th that counts towards the first half.
With the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the 11th, Adam Donachie drove a sacrifice fly to right field to score Cory Harrilchak for the win.

The Bluefish took a 2-0 lead in the top of the third inning on an error and an RBI single by Prentice Redman.

Somerset tied up the game on a home run by Edwin Maysonet (4) in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Daniel Herrera (2-0) picked up the win with a scoreless inning pitched. Tim Gustafson (0-3) suffered the loss, allowing a run on two hits in 1.2 innings pitched.
The 2014 Somerset Patriots Season presented by Ford will continue on the road until Thursday, July 10th when the Patriots return to TD Bank Ballpark for a 7:05 pm game against the Sugar Land Skeeters.
