BRIDGEWATER, NJ — For the third straight year, the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District is increasing pay rates for substitute teachers for 2024.
"Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District has always been a premier place to work for both our regular Teachers and Teacher Assistants (Paraprofessionals) as well as for our substitute educators," said Dr. Daniel Fonder, who is the school district’s Assistant Superintendent for Personnel. "We value the contributions of our substitute educators to our schools and appreciate the positive difference they make in our students' lives. One of the ways in which the administration and Board of Education have acknowledged the value of our substitute staff is through a number of pay increases over the past three years."
