Pepper And Benny Are Bridgewater's Pet Of The Week

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Meet Pepper and Benny! They have been chosen as Bridagewater Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Hello! We could not nominate one without the other as they are now a pair of siblings! Pepper, our beloved 9 year old Wheaton Terrier, has found herself with an new companion- Benny, a Terrier mix.

We adopted Benny from St. Hubert's just before Christmas. He is charming and fun loving and we fell in love with him immediately. He's super unique in many ways — including the fact that he runs around very fast — on only three legs! He had to have his front left leg removed as an accident caused it paralysis. Following that he had to have another surgery to have his back hip issue corrected. The good news is that he is already up and running around on his own — testimony to his resilience and spirit! He and Pepper love to take long walks and long naps together!"

Be sure to include a photograph or two of your pet, a paragraph about what makes him or her so great, and the part of town you're from. You can choose to include your name, but you don't need to. Then just keep an eye out for a photo of your pet on the Patch!

The photo can be of a present pet, or it can be a baby picture of the adult pet you're so proud of today.
