Pigs Return To Somerset County 4-H Fair
For the first time in decades, pigs will be exhibited at the Somerset County 4-H Fair on Aug. 10, 11, 12.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — For the first time in decades, pigs will be exhibited at the Somerset County 4-H Fair.
In its 69th year, the free and family-friendly fair will be held on Aug. 10, 11, 12 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., at North Branch Park 4-H Fairgrounds on Milltown Road in Bridgewater.

- Dairy and beef cows, sheep and goats will return this year.
- Mechanical Science Clubs are preparing their go karts, model trains, planes, rockets and RC cars for competitions around their tracks and in the air.
- In the Arts and Science Tent you will find exhibits of cooking and sewing, fine arts, filmmaking and steampunk, magic, drama, twirling and double dutch.
- Beekeeping, therapy pets, scale models, entomology, archery, photography and board and computer games are also on display.
- The Horse and Dog Club members will be showing all three days.
- Seeing Eye puppies, poultry, rabbits and small animals are waiting for visitors.
- Free entertainment, amateur and professional, is happening at three different venues, all day, every day.
